Zhang Hao was born in Fujian, China, and grew up as the only child in his family. A naturally gifted student, he skipped a grade and took the CSAT at 16, initially entering university as a geology major. His passion for music, however, led him to retake the exam and pursue musicology, later earning his teaching certificate. Hao is trained in violin, cello, viola, and piano and eventually shifted paths again to follow his dream of becoming an idol. He joined Boys Planet in 2023, where he ranked first overall, debuting as the center of ZB1. After ZB1’s contract ended, he continued his career as a vocalist, performer, model, brand ambassador, link between Douyin and TikTok, and actor. He is now a part of the AND2BLE lineup, where he has been confirmed to be leader.
